Lib Dems' new broadcast on Cameron, Brown and Iraq

The Liberal Democrat response to the Queen's Speech was broadcast on Friday night and highlighted the roles that both David Cameron and Gordon Brown had in supporting Tony Blair's War in Iraq. It also focused on the Lib Dems' new Green Tax Switch policies which promote a 2% cut in income tax to combat climate chaos.
Local party chair Paul Gentry said "It is important to remember that, despite what he says now, David Cameron and his Tories backed Tony Blair just as much as Gordon Brown did when Parliament voted in advance of the Iraq invasion. That makes him just as responsible as the Labour Government for what Tony Blair now calls a "disaster".
"History shows that the Liberal Democrats were right to oppose the War in Iraq."
