Record number of Lib Dem candidates at local elections

There will be fifty Liberal Democrat candidates at the local council elections on Thursday 6th May.
Local party chair, Denys Robinson, said:
"The local elections on Thursday 6th May give residents in Greenwich the opportunity to end Labour's 40-year control in the borough. The Liberal Democrats have put forward an experienced and hard-working panel of candidates.
"Local residents in Greenwich can be assured when voting Liberal Democrat on 6th May that they are voting for councillors who will always put the interests of local people first."
The candidates for each ward are as follows:
Abbey Wood - Ismail Danesi, Samson Iriajen and Bonnie Soanes
Blackheath Westcombe - Alexa Hills, Michael Smart and Chris Smith
Charlton - Thom Lyons, David Scales and Katie Sutton
Coldharbour & New Eltham - Anthea Gent and Emma Lewis
Eltham North - Helen Blackburn, Ed Randall and Elliot Shubert
Eltham South - Michael Lewis, Mark Pattenden and Boba Rangelov
Eltham West - Eileen Cox, Matthew Huntbach and Yvonne Nicholls
Glyndon - Tom Headon, Suzanne Miller and Andy Smith
Greenwich West - Anthony Austin, Ian Gerrard and Lucy Mortimer
Kidbrooke with Hornfair - Lee Coppack, Denys Robinson and Barbara Woodcraft
Middle Park & Sutcliffe - Mary Green, Paul Webbewood and Brian Woodcraft
Peninsula - David Butt Philip, Alex Cunliffe and Julia Tybura
Plumstead - Mark Bryceland, Narendra Kandel and Salvador Lloret-Farina
Shooters Hill - Eddie Ottery, Harry Potter and Steven Toole
