Greenwich goes to the polls on Thursday 6th May to elect a new council to run the borough for the next four years. Greenwich Borough Liberal Democrats have today set out their manifesto to bring about the change Greenwich needs.
Local party chair, Denys Robinson, commented:
"Labour has run Greenwich for almost 40 years, yet local people feel disconnected from what goes on at the Town Hall. Too many decisions are taken in Woolwich, without taking into account what local residents actually want.
"We will reform education in the borough so that our schools get the support they need to improve, work with the Metropolitan Police to make our borough safer and put more "green" into Greenwich. We will bring real reform to Greenwich, being a true voice for local people.
"The Liberal Democrats in Greenwich represent change that works for you."
