Bonnie Soanes, Ismail Danesi and Samson Iriajen

The Liberal Democrat candidates offer Abbey Wood the best choice on 6th May. They all live in the ward and have years of experience dealing with the issues faced by Abbey Wood residents. They would give Abbey Wood an effective voice in Woolwich Town Hall.

Ismail Danesi

Ismail was a councillor for eight years. He stood up for local residents rather than keep quiet and go along with Labour's neglect of the area. He wants to work hard to make our local streets safer and cleaner.

Bonnie Soanes

Bonnie has lived in Abbey Wood for thirty-eight years. He has helped in the management of C2K Youth & Community Centre since it

started and is also a governor at Alexander McLeod School. He has campaigned against unwelcome planning applications many times.

Samson Iriajen

Samson's main interests lie in education and youth issues. He is a teacher and mentor in a further education college. Locally he supports and helps organise the Abbey Wood Boys Football Club that plays on Winns Common on Saturdays. The aim of the club is to get young people off the street and denounce violence - especially knife crime in our neighbourhood.
