Liberal Democrat candidates Lucy Mortimer and Ian Gerrard
Anthony Austin
Anthony is very active with Greenwich's cycling community and spends lots of his time teaching local youngsters to cycle safely on our local roads. When not out on his bike, Anthony is a director of a Greenwich residents' group and a volunteer at St Alfege's church.
Ian Gerrard
Ian has previous experience as a councillor in Greenwich (2002-2006), and is currently Head of History and University Applications at a Secondary School in Lewisham. Ian knows the Council needs new inspirational leadership so Greenwich teachers and heads can get the support they deserve and parents and pupils get the quality of schools they want.
Lucy Mortimer
Lucy trained as an architect, before starting a career in the renewable energy and climate change sector. Her work promotes "green" solutions to benefit developing countries by promoting the development of clean technologies outside. Lucy is keen to see Greenwich's social housing better managed to improve the quality of life for residents, and to see local shops brought back into use by supporting small business' and local people. She is determined to see that the plans for equestrian events in Greenwich Park for the 2012 Olympics are closely monitored and controlled.
