Liberal Democrats head to Conference

Thousands of Liberal Democrats are today heading to the annual Liberal Democrat Conference. This years Conference is taking place in Bournemouth from today until Thursday.

The main topics to be discussed at conference will include:

  • Crime and policing

  • Health

  • Pensions and retirement

  • Jobs, employment and the economy

  • Environment and transport

  • Reducing the risk of terrorism

  • International trade and investment

  • Asylum and Immigration

  • International development

The Rt. Hon. Charles Kennedy MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats will make his key-note speech on Thursday at 11am.
